| Classical Music The Music fragments of classical compositions, which you can hear, are the result of recorded live concerts played on a Digital Steinway. The difference with an acoustic version of this piano, lies in the sound source. Here a computer generates the piano sounds. For every note on the keyboard, all possible attacks off a grand piano Steinway have been sampled and broad to digital values. One now can play these beautiful sounds on all today available keyboards. But for real Steinway feeling you need also the best hammer attack sensitive keyboard available, in this case a A-90 from Roland with extra soft dampers. A recording of this instrument, sounds on CD identically to a recorded acoustic version of this instrument. A further characteristic are the choirs and violins, which are played simultaneously with the piano sounds. The beautiful Stradivarius solo’s are also played at the same moment by the pianist. All those on a single digital hammer keyboard, LIVE performed, seems impossible. but it seems only impossible, it was done live.
